Lecturer Dr Niamh Ann Kelly presented paper, The Otherness of History: “Looking Away”& Visual Culture of the Famine at the conference, The Great Famine and its Impacts: Visual and Material Culture, held at Maynooth University 14-16 March 2016. The conference was funded by the Netherlandish Organization of Scientific Research, NWO and Maynooth University and co-organized by the International Network of Irish Famine Studies, Radboud University Nijmegen.
