Study Trip to London

At the end of the last academic year, a group of Postgraduate and Undergraduate students from CVC visited London with lecturers Dr Tim Stott and Dr Mary Ann Bolger.























A few of the highlights included:

Behind-the-scenes tour of the Victoria and Albert Museum with Dr Moya Carey, Iran Heritage Foundation Curator for the Iranian Collections.
 







































Meeting with V&A Head of Digital Media, Kati Price, who discussed digital marketing and publishing in the 21st century museum.



















A day of modernist architecture for humans and animals, starting with a tour of the architectural highlights of London Zoo, including Berthold Lubetkin's iconic Penguin Pool.







































Later students walked around Hampstead in the footsteps of the Bauhaus members who moved to London in the 1930s, ending with a tour of the Grade II* listed Willow Road by Erno Goldfinger.
